PMIday 2019 CONFINDUSTRIA
Students, Industry 4.0 and Digitalisation
A whole week to consolidate that bridge between school and business that is essential to build the future of young people in the society of the digital revolution.
After the success of last February, which had attracted 40 companies in the Treviso and Padua area and 1.600 students of Assindustria Venetocentro will repeat and relaunch the initiative of the SME Week, from Monday 11th to Friday 15th November, with many appointments in the company aimed at classes 3, 4 and 5 of the high schools of the two provinces, and which will culminate in the SME day-Industriamoci, the national SME day organized by Piccola Industria Confindustria, at its tenth edition, which will unite all the territories of Confindustria in spreading the knowledge of the productive reality of companies and their contribution to growth through the direct experience of young people in the company.
On Tuesday, November 12th the young students of the 4th class of the Antonio Scarpa Institute of Motta di Livenza (TV) had the opportunity to deepen and see all the 4.0 industrial processes and digitization directly in the factories of Tommasi Maronese, in Mansuè. An event characterized by a high mutual interest that we hope to renew next year, given its importance both for young and future workers and for local companies. More than a simple accessory.
The plinth or socle is a complementary accessory used in the kitchen furniture, present in most of the existing kitchens around the world and in all styles, from the most classic to the most modern. It is mainly used to cover the gap between the base of the kitchen and the floor, where with the application of a gasket in the lower part of the baseboard, it adheres well to all types of floors and follows the shape of the joints, sealing everything effectively. This is to prevent dust and humidity from settling over time. It appears visually as a low and long "rod", whose dimensions vary according to the models of the kitchen furniture, with fixing attachments to the spacers, which keep the base of the kitchen high from the floor. The classic and most used materials for the production of the kitchen plinth are chipboard and mdf, both derived from wood. The visible or external part of this accessory can be covered or painted during its production, depending on the colours, style and finishes of the chosen kitchen furniture. The covering of the kitchen plinths is carried out during its production in line, by machinery with special guides and rollers of different shapes, materials and different consistencies while the covering is applied with a special glue. The type of covering of the kitchen base is composed of various materials: paper, veneer, stainless steel and PVC. Usually the veneered material together with the pvc can be painted with a matt or glossy finish. In all cases of covering and material of the kitchen plinths, additional decorations can be applied to beautify the accessory, applied at the time of production. As time and technology progressed, LED lights, vacuum cleaners and drawers inside the baseboards were introduced to increase the liveability and beauty of the kitchen environment.
